keithbirthday:randomly discovered this downtempo, lo-fiish group from montreal about 20 minutes ago, and in those last few minutes I’ve desperate been trying to find every blog that has ever posted one of their songs in order to assemble the album as much as possible (it seems as though you’re not allowed to buy music online legally in Russia).
I think I like this so much because it feels like the winter I’m experiencing: quiet, a little sad, reflective, muted. the electronics blend nicely with the softly stroked instruments, and the casio sounds are well implemented without being cheesy or ironic. Friends, I think I’ve found a new wintertime favorite.
